Endangered Bodies, an international group which is set to making the world a positive one is now targeting a Facebook page with its nearly 15,000 signatures. Their mission is to remove “Fat is not a feeling. Fat is a natural part of our bodies, no matter their weight,”
The end goal is to have Facebook remove the emoji “Feeling Fat” so that they can stop making girls feel like their body is wrong. Making their way into the market in 2011, Endangered Bodies’ wants people to enjoy their body. With 890 million users daily, they plan to reach millions with their petition.
The petition argues that the platform, “has the power to influence how we talk to each other about our bodies.”
