SeaWorld Entertainment now has a new president and CEO. Joel Manby, formerly president and CEO of Herschend Enterprises is the new president of the company.

Manby, 55, will take on the dual roles on April 7 and will as well as join the company’s Board of Directors. David D’Alessandro, who had served as interim CEO, will continue to serve as chairman.

SeaWorld has experienced turnout and revenue dropoffs since the release of Blackfish, a documentary portraying the company’s treatment of killer whales, in 2013.
