Sony’s Metal Gear Solid Walkman is worth $1,126 & has game’s title stamped

Sony has released a latest trailer for “Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain”, as a final game building it up as the ‘conclusion’ of the series. The game is a sequel to Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

The Japanese trailer, which can be watched on video sites, also expects the profit as the series had close relationship with PlayStation platforms. Metal Gear Solid was launched for 1st time on the first PlayStation, and since then every game has been released for a PlayStation home console.

In celebration of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, the conclusive game of the series, Sony has launched a number of Phantom Pain-branded electronics, that includes a latest version of its Walkman, the super-expensive ZX2. The custom-built music player is priced at ¥140,000 on Sony’s site. This if converted accounts to around $1,126, the same price of a normal ZX2. It also has the game’s title stamped on the front portion of it. It also comes with a leather case marked with the logo of the game’s Outer Heaven mercenary group, as well as four pre-installed Phantom Pain wallpapers, a handful of HD Metal Gear songs, and original packaging.

If luxury MP3 players aren’t your thing though, Sony is also offering similarly-branded Xperia Z4 and Z3 Compact tablets, as well as a special edition J1 Compact smartphone and a less-pricey NW-A16 Walkman. All of these come with similar advantages to the ZX2, including Outer Heaven branding, pre-loaded wallpapers, and a handful of HD tracks.
