Manufacture of methamphetamine illegally have produced uncontrolled ammonia and damaging several propane tanks. Cape Cod firefighters have examined several recent tanks as a reaction to this incident. This incident will be investigated in order to prevent recurrence in the future. As already known, many illegal methamphetamine manufacturers operating in the Cape Cod area.
Sandwich fire Capt. James Huska tells the Cape Cod Times (http://bit.ly/1DVERxz) a propane company reported the suspicious tanks Saturday, one at a hardware store and two at convenience stores. A hazardous materials team and a state bomb squad were called to help.

Fire departments say meth manufacturers can use up propane, then store anhydrous ammonia in the tanks. That can weaken them, causing a danger of explosion.
